A Review: CHAINSAW REINDEER

The Fellowship was fortunate enough to obtain a copy of CHAINSAW REINDEER from Action Lab Entertainment. The story is written by Brandon Rhiness; with art by Carlos Trigo, colors by Przemyslaw, and lettering by Chris Johnson.

Living up at the North Pole is not the most pleasant experiences, especially when you have to deal with a drunk, abusive Santa. After one night of Santa’s tirades, a reindeer decides enough is enough and kills everybody except his fellow reindeer. His thirst for blood and vengeance is about to go global and beyond…

Okay, let’s be honest here…it’s a simple concept: a reindeer out on revenge with a shotgun, later a chainsaw (hence the title). The one shot is a bunch of mindless violence, gore, and some humor…and that’s okay. It doesn’t try to be something it’s not, and frankly a nice change of pace from other books. Trigo and Przemyslaw’s unique visual approach to this adds to the bizarreness of the book. Check the book out else earned the wrath of the reindeer.
