A Review: STAR WARS ADVENTURES #21

The Fellowship was fortunate enough to obtain a copy of STAR WARS ADVENTURES #21 from IDW Publishing. The stories are written by Cavan Scott & Shane McCarthy; with art by Derek Charm & Nicoletta Baldari, colors by Matt Herms, and lettering by Tom B. Long.

Luke, Han and Chewie have arrived at the planet Rion to trade for much need equipment for the Rebellion. Much to Han’s displeasure, Luke is placed in charge of negotiations. While waiting for the meetings to conclude, Han noticed a swoop race is being held and the huge prize money. Han enters the race, but someone recognizes him…and is aware of the huge bounty on his head. In the backup tale reveals what lengths a creature will go to get a glass of blue milk at the Mos Eisley cantina.

The series moves to the classic trilogy, but the adventure still continues. Cavan Scott and Shane McCarthy give you action-packed, fun, and humorous stories while trying to teaching a moral. Derek Charm & Nicoletta Baldari’s art is a visual treat. Each artist style fit the story they were telling perfect. This title is perfect for STAR WARS fans of any age. Check it out.
