A Review: ITTY BITTY COMICS #1: THE MASK

The Fellowship was fortunate enough to obtain a copy of ITTY BITTY COMICS #1: THE MASK from Dark Horse Comics. The story is by Art Baltazar and Franco, with art by Art Baltazar.

A gentleman walks into a Magic Spells Depot to find an anniversary present for his wife. He finds a special mask, but the proprietor tells him that the mask is not for him. Despite the warnings, Mr. Shazbert buys the mask and heads home. Things get a little crazy when he tries the mask on; but pales in comparison to what happens when Grandma gets her hands on it. Will the shopkeeper make it in time to get the mask before something horrible happens? Will the family give the mask back?

It’s great to see The Mask back and in the hands of Baltazar and Franco. They use the craziness and unpredictability of the character, but bring in their good nature, cute and harmeless fun that they are known for from their other efforts. I wouldn’t have a hard time recommending this book to anyone at any age.
