A Review: THE SHADOW #14

The Fellowship was fortunate enough to obtain a copy of THE SHADOW #14 from Dynamite Comics. The story is by Chris Roberson, with art by Giovanni Timpano, colors by Fabricio Guerra, and lettering by Rob Steen.

The Shadow has found the Lady Phantom who is responsible for the recent murders that have taken place. He barely stops her from killing her next victim, but at a price. Our hero may have figured what all the victims have in common as well as some of the mysterious assassin’s pattern, but he may know he far better than he thinks.

This is the second issue in the new chapter of The Shadow under the direction of Roberson and Timpano, and I like what I have read. This is an intriguing story with a killer who is on a moral and religious crusade, but isn’t killing morally wrong?  I like Timpano’s style and the panels where the white angel of death battles the dark hero is very striking. If you have been curious and wanted to read this book, it’s not too late to jump onboard!
