The Fellowship was fortunate enough to obtain a copy of ANGEL
& FAITH SEASON TEN #1 from Dark Horse Comics. The script is by Victor
Gischler, with art by Will Conrad, colors by Michelle Madsen, and lettering by Richard
Starkings and Comicraft’s Jimmy Betancourt.
After a young man Angel saves winds up dead, he must find
out who is responsible and why the guy feared our vampiric hero. Meanwhile,
Faith brings Giles back to the United States just in time to help out Buffy and
the rest of the gang. Seeing how well Giles is accepted back, she must decide
where she goes from here; does she stay here, go back to help Angel, or accept
Kennedy’s offer to join her team?
I have become a fan of Gischler thanks to CLOWN FATALE,
KISS ME SATAN, and NOIR, so I’m excited about him taking over the ANGEL &
FAITH while Christos Gage takes over BUFFY. It’s great to see Will Conrad
return to the Buffyverse, love his art. It will be interesting to see where these
guys take the characters (how about seeing some of the other Angel supporting
cast?), but I guarantee it won’t be boring!
