A Review: GHOSTED #1

The Fellowship was fortunate enough to obtain a copy of GHOSTED #1 from Image Comics. Joshua Williamson writes and Goran Sudzuka draws.

Winters is in prison, and seems pretty circumspect about it. He’s certainly surprised when someone breaks in to liberate him, though. A really rich guy wants to add to his collection, only he doesn’t want art. He wants Winters to catch a ghost for him. He’s got a haunted house already picked out; all Winters has to do is put together a team and get to work. But is it really ever that easy?

Winters is an interesting character, and I get the feeling that there’s more they haven’t told us yet. There’s also some mystery in the rest of the team, and that’s where this story will derive its fun. And besides that, they’re already hinting that the ghosts are real and rather numerous in this house. That leaves us quite a bit of flexibility for where this could go, and I like flexibility.

I look forward to getting to know these people better, and also whether this turns into a horror story or a heist story or an action story. Or all three. It should be a fun ride.

GHOSTED #1 is available now at your LCS or online at imagecomics.com.
