Sarge leads a small team of commandos that travel back to
the Cretaceous period. Their mission: to stop the Nazis from accomplishing
their most ambitious plan yet! Even if the Allied soldiers are successful, will
they be able to survive the hostile environment? Can they get home without
altering the timeline?
This is a fast-paced, intriguing start to a miniseries.
The focus is more on action, so not a lot of character building. There’s not
much explanation about how both forces have time-traveling capability, but I’m
sure it will be addressed in a future issue. Jennett creates a beautiful, yet
dangerous world that our heroes must survive. It will be interesting to see
where things goes from here. If you are a fan of war comics, especially THE WAR
THAT TIME FORGOT, you will enjoy this book.
