A Review: ITTY BITTY HELLBOY #1

The Fellowship was fortunate enough to obtain a copy of ITTY BITTY HELLBOY #1 from Dark Horse Comics. The stories are by Art Baltazar and Franco, with art by Art Baltazar.

Karl Kroenen, Rasputin, and Herman Von Klempt learn of the existence of Hellboy and want to know more. The bad boys find out that Hellboy and his friends have all the neat stuff: a swimming pool, a barbecue pit, and a fortress made out of a refrigerator box! Since all they have is a fort made out of a dishwasher box, they plan to take over and expand their empire. Will the bad boys win out, or will the good guys prevail? Or something completely unexpected  will happen?

I was a fan of Baltazar and Franco’s work on TINY TITANS and SUPERMAN FAMILY ADVENTURES, so when Dark Horse announced the title, I knew this would be fun. I was not disappointed. Who knew that Hellboy could be cute! Just look at him! Fans of Hellboy and the B.P.R.D. will have a blast with this book.  However, you don’t have to be fans of the Mike Mignola characters to enjoy this all-ages treat. Check it out!
