A Review: KID SHERLOCK #4

The Fellowship was fortunate enough to obtain a copy of KID SHERLOCK #4 from Action Lab Entertainment. The story and lettering is by Justin Phillips; with art by Sean Gregory Miller, and colors by Lesley Atlansky. Based on characters created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

There is a serial tripper at Baker Elementary, and it’s up to Sherlock and Watson to get to the bottom of the mystery. The prime suspect is school bully Kyle, but he claims he’s innocent and asks our heroes for help. If Kyle is innocent, who is responsible? And is the tripper’s next victim?

KID SHERLOCK is a nice all-ages book with a mystery and a moral packed into a simple but effective story. Sherlock and Watson are great characters that kids will like right off the bat. This is an “all-in-one” issue, meaning that this is a complete story in one book. If this is your introduction to the book you won’t be lost, but you’ll want to get the others because it’s a fun series. Also included are drawing and coloring tips and a couple of activity pages. Well worth checking out.
