A Review: FAITH #7

The Fellowship was fortunate enough to obtain a copy of FAITH #7 from Valiant Entertainment and DC Comics. The story is by Jody Houser, with art by Joe Eisma, colors by Andrew Dalhouse, Fantasy Sequences by Marguerite Sauvage, and letters by Dave Sharpe.

Faith has been through a lot recently; with thwarting an alien plot, dealing with the death of her duplicate, rejoining the Renegades team, plus the usual problems of having a dual identity. So when she starts seeing and dreaming of those who died around her (including her parents), it must be the stress of everything…right? Or is something else going on?

FAITH is such a fun, positive book amongst the sea of grim, gritty superhero comics. Faith is a character that you can’t help but cheer for; especially in the hands of writer Jody Houser. It’s great to see Joe Eisma on this book; he’s a great fit for any comic, but I love that he’s here. I’m not sure where this story is going, but that’s fun part of a mystery. If you haven’t checked out this book, now is your chance. Jump on board, you will not regret it.
