A Review: X-O MANOWAR #28

The Fellowship was fortunate enough to obtain a copy of X-O MANOWAR #28 from Valiant Entertainment. The story is by Robert Venditti, illustrated by Diego Rodrigues, colors by Romulo Fajardo, and letters by Dave Sharpe.

Primary Reebo has led his team of hunters on many successful missions to eliminate armors, but at a cost. He’s lost team members on every time. When a member who’s close to Reebo gets injured on the latest mission, he makes a decision that he might regret the rest of his life. Meanwhile, a stunning development has been discovered on the planet Gennin (home of the Armor Hunters) that makes Control rethink their strategy…

I’m really enjoying this backstory about the Armor Hunters and how they got to the point to where they are in the main title. Venditti is crafting a great story and makes the reader have compassion for Reebo and understand where he’s coming from and why he’s doing this. ARMOR HUNTERS is not the usual comic event; it’s a breath of fresh air. I am totally digging this and highly recommend it to anyone.

X-O MANOWAR #28 is in stores now, or available for ordering at Valiantuniverse.com.
