A Review: GHOSTBUSTERS #13

The Fellowship was fortunate enough to obtain a copy of GHOSTBUSTERS #13 from IDW Publishing. The story is by Erik Burnham, with art by Dan Schoening, colors by Luis Antonio Delgado, and lettering by Neil Uyetake.

While Peter, Ray, and Egon attend Winston and Tiyah’s wedding, the others respond to a call. The ghost has captured the employees of an accounting firm, making things a little more difficult for our heroes. The busters were finally able to capture the specter, but as they present their bill it mysteriously starts raining blood. Meanwhile, Dana Barrett is in her apartment having a phone conversation with her mom when she receives a “visitor”…

This is the first chapter of “Mass Hysteria” and looks like the old gang may be getting together for the 30th anniversary celebration. The humor is still there; really like the “new guys” as well as the old favorites. Schoening’s art is still great, and love the eerie colors supplied by Luis Antonio Delgado. Very curious to see where things go from here and hope there’s a big payoff for the anniversary.

GHOSTBUSTERS #13 is in stores now, or available for ordering at www.idwpublishing.com.
