A Review: HIGHER EARTH #5

The Fellowship was fortunate enough to obtain a copy of HIGHER EARTH #5 from Boom Studios. Sam Humphries writes and Joe Eisma draws.

Beatrice lives on an isolated island, and she has a very interesting profession. She travels to other dimensions in order to get things to help her people survive. She started doing it as a child, and as she grew up she began to understand some things. Her superiors are not thrilled about her ideas, though, and she’s banished. Then she meets her counterpart from another dimension, which gives her even more ideas.

This is the beginning of a new story arc, and it promises to be a fun learning experience, both for the reader and for Beatrice. She’s starting to learn about the portal and the other dimensions, and we’re starting to learn about her and what she wants to accomplish.

There’s some exciting story potential here. Can she do this? Can anyone stop her? Finding these answers will make this title interesting for some time, but finding more questions can only make it better.

HIGHER EARTH #5 is available now at your FLCS or by order from boom-studios.com.
