A Review: GHOST STATION ZERO #1

The Fellowship was fortunate enough to obtain a copy of GHOST STATION ZERO #1 from Image Comics. Antony Johnston writes, Shari Chankhamma draws and colors, and Simon Bowland letters.

After taking care of some Chinese human traffickers, Baboushka gets the call to investigate the disappearance of an agent who was tracking down an old enemy safehouse. This means a trip to an Alpine resort, where she finds the agent’s contact quite by accident. The contact proves interesting, in both good ways and bad.

This is the start of the second arc of this action thriller series, and I’m excited to have it back. This issue has even more of a Bond-esque feel than the first arc, if that’s even possible. The story is fast paced and action packed, and the art helps sell the pacing and action with great flair.

If you dig a good spy thriller, you owe it to yourself to read this series. Baboushka is a lot like James Bond, only with an interesting backstory and a better cast of recurring characters. I highly recommend this title.

GHOST STATION ZERO #1 is available now from your local comic shop, or online at imagecomics.com.
