A Review: GRIMM FAIRY TALES #104

The Fellowship was fortunate enough to obtain a copy of GRIM FAIRY TALES #104 from Zenescope Entertainment. The story is by Joe Brusha, Ralph Tedesco, and Pat Shand, written by Pat Shand. The art is by Andrea Meloni, colors are by Ivan Nunes, and lettering is by Jim Campbell.

The water nymphs have captured Hailey and taken her back to Neverland and to her mother, Queen Calista. Calista needs her help to take the nymphs back to Earth in a quest to find Atlantis, away from the impending war with the Sirens. Hailey wants no part of this and tries to get her friends and go home…but it’s too late. Can Sela make it to Neverland in time to rescue her students?

Once again a really good story with action and some top notch art from the gang at Zenescope. Pat Shand is a much underrated writer and I wish more people knew about his work. The publisher is stressing jumping on points for their ongoing series recently, and this issue marks a great opportunity for new readers. So if you have ever been interested in this book, now is the time to jump on board!

GRIM FAIRY TALES #104 is in stores now, or available for ordering at www.zenescope.com.
