A Review: CREEPY #10

The Fellowship was fortunate enough to obtain a copy of CREEPY #10 from Dark Horse Comics. Several artists and writers contributed to this compilation.

It’s Creepy’s Lovecraft issue! Four big stories based on the life and works of the father of modern horror! We’ve got excerpts from some of his letters with original art added. We’ve got The Rats in the Walls (one of my personal favorites). We’ve got original stories in the Lovecraft style. And lots more fun to be had!

Uncle Creepy never fails to bring us memorable horror, and this Lovecraft tribute issue is no exception. The stories are interesting, and I really like the adaptations of the letter excerpts (Lovecraft was a prolific letter writer in his day, corresponding with several popular writers). And there’s something about Lovecraftian art that just makes black and white sing.

If you’ve ever thought about checking out Lovecraft’s works, this would be a great way to get a taste. And if you’re already a fan, it’s definitely worth picking this book up.

CREEPY #10 is available now at your FLCS or by order from darkhorse.com.
